FOOTBALL

Today I thought to write about the Under 15 team of the Oratorio Urgnanese Calcio in which I also play, but before talking about the team let’s briefly understand the sport of football.

Football is a team sport played on a field of circa 105 meters of length and 68 of width; the players in field are 11 per team, 7 stay on the sidelines benched near the coach.

On the field there is a referee who makes the FIFA rules be respected, that were created in 1904; on the field near the border line there are two sideline referees who help the referee to take the decisions.

But the important part of this sport is always having fun as I like doing.

Specifically today I want to write about the last game played valid for the fifteenth day of the championship that ended in a 4-2 defeat by the Palosco team.

The game, during the first half, was in favor of the home team, which, however, just before the halftime allowed the other team a goal that lowered the mood of the entire team, in fact right at the beginning of the second half they scored another goal.

Shortly after the second goal the goalkeeper of Urgnano injured a hand and had to leave the field of play in pain, everything changed; in fact, in a short time the home team quickly suffered two more goals and got a disadvantage, which ended with a defeat.

Now let's ask a team member some questions:

  1. To prepare for a game, how many training sessions do you do per week?

To prepare for the game we train twice a week for an hour and thirty on Wednesdays and Fridays.

  1. Has a compact group formed in the team?

No, the team has not formed a compact group yet  because this team was the union of 2 others from last year, one composed by guys born in 2009 and the others born in 2010.

  1. Why do you think this game ended in this way?

In my opinion, this game was lost because there were many distracting mistakes by the whole team but mostly because I was not on the field!

  1. What do you expect from the next game?

From the next game I don't have any expectations but I just know that it is a game in which you can win, but you have to leave the rest to chance.

  1. What are your strengths? And weaknesses?

Our strength is our energy in the first half, and our weakness is that we do not work well together and often end up fighting with each other.

Thank you for reading.
